Welcome to Ten Dozen ("Ten Dozen,", "we," "us" or "our"). It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our mobile services, web site, and any software provided on or in connection with Ten Dozen services (collectively, the "Service"), and your choices about the collection and use of your information.
Certain visitors to our Service choose to interact with the Service in ways that require the Service to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account to provide a username and email address. Those who engage with our Service may also provide photos, video, and other materials (User Content) to the Service. In each case, we collect such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with the Service. We do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain activities on the Service.
We use this information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Service, to process your requests, to operate, maintain, analyze and improve our site and Service, and to communicate directly with you and offer products and services to you. We may also send you Service-related emails or messages (e.g., account verification, payment confirmations, change or updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices).
Ten Dozen uses third-party analytics tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your device or our Service, including the browser type, language preference, referring site, the date and time of each visitor request and other information that assists us in improving the Service. We collect and use this analytics information with analytics information from other Users so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify any particular individual User.
With your authorization, we may also obtain information about you from other sources. For example, if you create or log into your Ten Dozen account through a social media service (like Github), we will receive information from that service (such as your username, basic public profile information) via the authorization procedures used by that service. The information we receive depends on which services you authorize and any options that are available.
Ten Dozen discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Ten Dozen's behalf or to provide services available on the Service, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using the Service, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Ten Dozen will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Ten Dozen discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Ten Dozen believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Ten Dozen, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of the Service and have supplied your email address, we may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what's going on with the Service. We primarily use our various product blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. We take all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
